Viejas Dream Catcher Lounge

Stage – Excellent (large)

Stage Lighting – Excellent

Sound – Good. Low end tends to be muddy. Very loud so bring earplugs!

Bar – Full bar on first floor in the back with decent prices and specials (sometimes). Credit cards and cash accepted.

Food – None

Age Limit – 21 and up.

Capacity – Unknown

Bang for your Buck – Average

Camera Policy – No cameras allowed at all. The security guards spend most of the time going after people and their cameras/ cell phones instead of taking care of the drunks. They hide behind a supposed gambling rule that does not allow cameras, but I do not know why this applies to the lounge where there are NO machines or tables! Compare this to a much better casino in Palm Springs that lets you take as many pictures as you want. Go figure?

Air Quality – Very poor since people smoke like crazy at casinos and in the lounge. Very poor ventilation to deal with this problem during a show.

Variety of Music – Dance, Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz, Instrumentalists, Comedians and more.

Venue Layout – Mixture of tables, chairs, dance floor and open area depending on the event. Has a second level with seating. Restrooms in the back on the first floor.

Location – 5000 Willows Road, Alpine, CA 91901. 34 minutes from San Diego – 2-lane road with no lighting from freeway to casino (very dangerous after show with drunk drivers).
